Marjorie Taylor Greene called liberal haters “so stupid” after an activist group posted a video of her boyfriend dressed in drag during a Dallas morning TV newscast.
The 48-year-old Republican congresswoman from Georgia was responding to critics who branded her a “hypocrite” after the anti-drag politician’s new beau was seen on an old WFAA newscast wearing a pink dress and blond wig.
“I’m literally lol’ing,” she wrote on Twitter Sunday. “The left is so stupid.”
The clip had gone viral after PatriotTakes, a left-wing Twitter account, posted a clip of her new beau, Brian Glenn, dressed in drag for a newscast.
“I’m kicking these shoes off, but I may keep the pantyhose on,” Glenn said in the broadcast, taken at an unknown time. “It does feel kind of good, actually.”

Greene explained on Twitter that her boyfriend “dressed in drag for morning news in Dallas years ago reporting on an upcoming local theatre production and the morons over at Patriot Takes think this is an attack.”
Glenn, now the programming director at Right Side Broadcasting Network, claimed it was all in good fun.
“The things I did for morning show television!! LOVED it and so did the @wfaa @WFAADaybreak viewers,” he wrote on Twitter. “It’s a good thing I have a sense of humor!”
Greene has been outspoken about her views on the transgender and LGBT issues.
In June, she said that children were being exposed to inappropriate situations at the drag performances across the country.
“What’s the difference in children stuffing cash in a drag queen bra and a stripper’s bra? Nothing. It’s wrong and it’s indoctrination,” she mused.
Republicans have already begun enacting drag bans, including in Tennessee, where legislation requested adult cabaret performances be restricted.
The proposed bill was aimed to ban performances from any place minors could be present and from public property. Those who break the law would have faced a misdemeanor or felony charge.
Greene has also accused Democrats of “grooming children” in the past.
“Democrats support — even Joe Biden, the president himself — support children being sexualized and having transgender surgeries. Sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children,” she said in an interview with “60 Minutes.”
