WATCH: Lindsey Graham Booed and Called a ‘Traitor’ at Trump Rally

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was met with the jeers of an irate crowd this afternoon at a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in the senator’s hometown of Pickens, South Carolina.

“Well, you want to find something in common?” Graham said to the crowd after over a minute of straight booing in disapproval. “Just calm down a second,” he added.

Graham attempted to quell the crowd by outlining his personal connection to the town, noting that Pickens, South Carolina, is home to the most United States Medal of Honor recipients.

“This is the place where people pay the taxes, fight the wars, and tell you what they believe,” Graham said to the disgruntled rallygoers.

The loudest boos came when Graham began to highlight his relationship with the former president.

“I found common ground with President Trump … I [came] to like President Trump, and he likes himself, so we got that in common.”

Graham said that he will continue to support Trump for the 2024 presidency because he has “never seen anybody this tough for America.”

“We got a lot of good people running, but there’s nobody our enemies are afraid of like Donald Trump,” Graham said.

Graham noted that the potential consequences of a Democrat victory in 2024 include packing the Supreme Court, the statehood of Puerto Rico and D.C., and abolishing the Electoral College.

“When it comes to Donald Trump, the best is yet to come,” Graham said.
